Diana Mahbod, MD, FASN, FNKF

Dr. Diana Mahbod is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. She has a special interest and training in management of glomerular diseases but is dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care across the entire spectrum of kidney disease and hypertension. Dr. Mahbod completed medical school at the University of Iowa, Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Nephrology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Mahbod is the Chairperson of the National Kidney Foundation serving Texas and Oklahoma and is designated as a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) by the American Association for Physician Leadership (AAPL), a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN) and a Fellow of the National Kidney Foundation (FNKF).
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Mahbod enjoys quality time with her family, exploring places to see in the DFW metroplex, reading, and various forms of exercise including outdoor running.
